While I love Lebron James, I am a bit upset with him suggesting that Micheal Jordan's number (23) should not be worn by anyone in the league to pay respect to one of the greatest players and arguably the greatest player to play the game. I understand the sentiment behind it but what really put a bitter taste in my mouth was Lebron's statement last night after the game in Miami,"I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. Nobody. If I’m not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it.
”Uhhhh Sir who do you think you are? Because your not going to wear it nobody should be able to, get over yourself please.
Yes they need to pay repect to Jordan but Lebron you need to fall back younging. If that is what you want to do to pay a tribute to him then do so, but don't force your views on others. Everyone does not believe that Jordan was the greatest and everyone is entitled to their opioion. So Bron Bron you pay respect your way and let others pay in their way.
I understand what you are saying Luck but i have to agree with Bron Bron he is one of the top 3 best players in the league so i think he is right. If you are not as good then you should give up the number. lol sorry.
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool if the owners just retired the number then it would make it much easier and the players would have no choose. I think it would be great for his Airness. I think everyone would agree anyway i don't think any player is going to say no.
