Say what you want about me and about my opinions but this one I believe with everything in my heart. Kissing has got to be one of the most intimate things that you can do with a person. To be honest I probably had more sexual partners than kissing partners. I know at first that sounds funny or slutty but think about it, when you kiss someone you are kissing everyone they have kissed, everyone they licked, everyone they have drunk after, eaten after, and even worst if they don't have a dental plan or brush and floss on a daily imagine all that bacteria that has built up ewwwwww, I just don't need that in my life. Maybe if they invented condoms for kissing. Ha imagine that! Rush hour thoughts

I'm always day dreaming or thinking of random things while I drive to work each morning. So today I'm like dang you got to be kidding me is Christmas really almost here. Every single year I say to myself I'm going to start shopping for Christmas in August and I never do. Each year my family seems to get bigger and bigger so I'm like dang let me see how many kiddies are in the family now...counting 10 girls and 1 one the way, 6 boys and 1 on the way. You do the math. Now does that answer the question to everyone why I don't need to have anymore kids, there are enough in the family for Asia to play with and the oldest is 11 and the youngest two are 7 months, and two coming in the beginning of 2010. Pretty soon I will have to start shopping a yr in advance. UGGGGHHH I love the kiddies though! Kisses to my nieces and nephews

Thanksgiving 2008 I love my family

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm a little sad because I'm at work (blahhh) but that is time in a 1/2 so I got to get that money. But I'm mainly sad because I'm not with my family (in Albany). There is nothing like seeing my mom and my dad, sibling, grandparents, all my nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and my cousins. It is always nice to see everyone and to be in the presence of love. We have a family tradition that before we eat Thanksgiving dinner we stand around the table and all give thanks, so since I can't be with my family today, I will say my thanks here.
I'm thankful for my family, my health, my job, and just for being able to see another day. Many times we take for granted this thing called life and how easily it can be taken away. So for all my family that is no longer with us and looking down from the Heavens, I miss you and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

The AMA Pitty Party

I dvr most things now days and the AMA's were no exception. So today when I took a look at the AMA's from last night I was just disgusted, grant it I don't know much about this Taylor Swift girl but the Kayne incident and that someone broke up with her via text last year, or something to that effect. She really racked up last night and I just can't help but to think if it's because everyone is feeling bad for her not having her moment to shine at the MTV awards earlier this year but really everyone get over it pls!

And then we have Michael Jackson (R.I.P.) but really no one is America was feeling him like that until he died. Everyone had cast him out as some freak and a molester, so now people want to act like they had so much love for him. And SMH big time at Jermaine Jackson for his hair and for naming his sons Jermagisty, Jafar, and Jeremy (what in the world). OK Jermaine fall back a little I'm really tired of seeing that slick back hair uggggh!

The Knicks make bad decision after bad decision NO AI for the knicks. AWh Man Damn! What are they thinking over there, not about winning any games I guess!

Is he the Answer?

The rumor mill is buzzing pretty loudly about Allen Iverson coming to the Knicks. Iverson is no longer a Grizzly he was put on leave and never to return as of Monday. Even though A.I. is past his prime I do believe that he will help the Knicks get a few wins for the season because Duhon is not doing. We need someone running the point that can make plays happen or that is not afraid to get inside the paint. I do however realize this by no means spells championship or the playoffs but it will give the city of New York a little boost from this slump that we are in. This season can we please just get a few more wins, and next season rebuild.

OK I need someone to tell my why every time I wear a white blouse or a white sweater to work dumb people have to come up to me and touch me on the shoulder like they can't talk to me without touching. What is that all about? I really have an issue with people not knowing boundaries, you can't just go around touching people, I mean come on! So now I'm the crazy angry one for saying "do u mind?" or for moving my shoulder. Well once I did grab someones hand and told them to never touch me again. What's the problem was I wrong? LOL But really people you need to learn some boundaries and keep your hands to yourself! Didn't your mother ever teach you anything while your were humping her! Geeesh! I know, I know, I'm so out of line.

The Adventures of Mom and Flat Stanley

OK, so two weeks ago I get a paper home from my daughter's school informing us (the parents) that the kids have been reading a book called "The Adventures of Flat Stanley." OK cool right? NO wrong. Now the school sends home a piece of paper with Flat Stanley on it and wants the kids to give it to someone special to take Flat Stanley on Adventures and to top it off it is suggested that the special person take pictures with him. So you know of course I get elected to be that special person. Pissed at first about my election I did not want to take this Flat Stanley character anywhere with me. I don't even know what I'm suppose to get out of doing this but nevertheless this is going to reflect on my baby's grade average so I have to just suck it up and do it.
Flat Stanley found himself all around the town, attending the Yankees' Ticker Tape Parade, at the Knicks and Cavs game and he even atempted to assist me with walking the dog (that did not go well). It was rough for Flat Stanley and I but we made it through. From my brother giving him the finger to my dad saying "Oh God, not that damn Flat Stanley again." LOL the things you will do for your children. (SMH) I was not the only fool taking picture with Flat Stanley so it was not all that bad. I guess this is something to just laugh at, cause I know people were laughing. (Side bar of course I did not hand in the photo with my brother putting his middle finger in the picture, what kind of mom do you think I am?) LOL

Bold but maybe too bold..Rihanna's "Russian Roulette"

While Rhianna has been on the dark side for a little while now, I don't think that this video and all it's symbolism is sending the right message to her fans. Being that she just came out of a domestically abusive relationship and she is trying to show woman empowerment through her music and her videos, I don't believe that everyone will get it. (I do have my own feelings about the whole Chris Brown and Rhianna situation but that will be left unsaid.) Domestic abusive situations do leave you in a very gloomy and dark place and I applaud her for not running from it, but she does have to take into account that there are those who are not head strong enough to know the difference in symbolism and reality. I hope this does not come with a lot of backlash for her.

After all that was said and done, well manly said and done by Vivica from her dissing him on radio shows to the alleged stalking at his Connecticut compound, it seems that these two may not be on bad terms after all. Maybe it's just business but they do look awfully cozy. Who knows. "Before I self Destruct" will be realesed on 11/16/09 and is available on itunes now.

And the winner is...

Wow what a fight, well at least for the first half of it. Cotto was down twice but he kept coming. As the fight went on Paq started to pick apart Cotto and the fight became a shut out. I did not want Cotto to win but towards the end of the fight I began to feel bad for him. So it seems that speed privaled over power tonight. Congrats Manny and bring on Mayweather so we can really see who is pound for pound the best.

(Fight night) Who is going to win?

Really I can't call this one. I usually have a prediction and 9 times out of 10 I'm right, but I really can't pick this time around. I want Manny to win but tonight it will be strength (Cotto) vs speed (Manny). I do believe it going to come down to who wants it's more and who fights a smarter fight. While Manny is favored to win, I just can't see a clear winner in my mind. Manny might come in a be too quick for Cotto to catch but on the other hand Cotto could catch Manny slipping and catch him flush with a right hook. I guess tonight we will find out. I will have my hot coco in hand along with my note pad and pen keeping score. Round by round we will find out who the winner is going to be. (see weigh-in blow)

Why do people care?

Every time I turn around it seems like someone has something negative to say about superstars and their relationships. I understand that a lot of media outlets just want to gossip but sometimes it just gets out of hand. I think a lot of the times, writers forget that these are people's lives that they are talking about. Some are so quick to judge and say things like, "oh that can't be love", or "he/she is not good enough to be with him or her". "Why is that old woman with that young man." But I say who really cares? Love does not come with a face or an age or how much hair you have. Weather we believe that some of these relationships or marriages are for publicity or connivance that is not our place to say so, because there are people who get married everyday for connivance. Weather it's the girl marrying the older man with money for stability or an old couple marrying for companionship, the fact is people do it everyday without being held under a microscope. While I must say it is fun to watch I don't think it is anyone business what reasons people are together. Just mind your own!

A bit cocky aren't we?

While I love Lebron James, I am a bit upset with him suggesting that Micheal Jordan's number (23) should not be worn by anyone in the league to pay respect to one of the greatest players and arguably the greatest player to play the game. I understand the sentiment behind it but what really put a bitter taste in my mouth was Lebron's statement last night after the game in Miami,"I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. Nobody. If I’m not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it.
”Uhhhh Sir who do you think you are? Because your not going to wear it nobody should be able to, get over yourself please.
Yes they need to pay repect to Jordan but Lebron you need to fall back younging. If that is what you want to do to pay a tribute to him then do so, but don't force your views on others. Everyone does not believe that Jordan was the greatest and everyone is entitled to their opioion. So Bron Bron you pay respect your way and let others pay in their way.

Gucci Mane has violated his probation and was sentenced to a year in prison. Meanwhile his album "The State vs. Radrick Davis" is due to drop soon and he is going to be locked up. I guess he will do his promoting behind bars. SMH As Gucci tells his cell mate to cop his CD or get shanked. WOW! Really people do not learn. What does it take? You can't be a rapper/thug. Please choose one and stick to it. Waves to Lil Wayne and Gucci.

Knicks -vs- Cavs (This is going to be a long season)

I guess it was just wishful thinking for me to conger up thoughts that the Knicks pre-season would determine how well they would do in the regular season. Last night the Knicks faced the Cavs and all I can say is Lebron James.
With all of New York City on a high from the Yankees winning the World Series there was a bit of hope in the air that the winning streak would transfer over from one New York team to another.
Madison Square was packed last night with all types of celebrities and fans. Some to get a glimpse of the Lebron and Shaq duo and others die hard Knicks fans. During a break in the game, highlights of retired Knick players flashed on the screen. Goose bumps filled my arms watching all those great moments. Charles Oakley, Antony Mason and Larry Johnson were in attendance which also served as a reminder of the better days, but those better days seem to be so far behind the Knicks right now. Hopes of playoff contention don’t seem to be in the future either. With the Knicks losing to the Cavs their record is now 1-5 and they are in 14th place in the Eastern Conference.
I still have major questions about the decisions that are made by coach D'Antoni. He always seems to take players out the game when they get hot. Last night rookie Jordan Hill came off the bench and was playing great defense and scored two buckets his first few minutes on the floor, only to be taken out of the game moments later, and did not receive another second of playing time for the duration of the game. I really don’t understand the logic of the coaching, if something is working why not stick to it?
With the Knicks sites on a big name player next year and the restructure of the franchise it seems like this may just be a wasted season. I understand that next season is the primary focus, but can they at least win a few more games this year, keep the game competitive, and keep the fans excited for the season to come. My sites are set on seeing the Knicks have a Ticker Tape Parade one day, I just hope that day is not too far away. I guess I will have to wait for next season to find out, but no matter what I'm still riding with the Knicks and we will get that Ticker Tape one day and I will be there even if I'm 90 years old in a wheelchair!
