While Rhianna has been on the dark side for a little while now, I don't think that this video and all it's symbolism is sending the right message to her fans. Being that she just came out of a domestically abusive relationship and she is trying to show woman empowerment through her music and her videos, I don't believe that everyone will get it. (I do have my own feelings about the whole Chris Brown and Rhianna situation but that will be left unsaid.) Domestic abusive situations do leave you in a very gloomy and dark place and I applaud her for not running from it, but she does have to take into account that there are those who are not head strong enough to know the difference in symbolism and reality. I hope this does not come with a lot of backlash for her.
She is a ass. I can not respect anyone that does not take responsabilty for there part in any situation. She let him take all the blame so i say screw her. He was wrong no questions but she had to play a part in that and she is not fessing up.

ReplyDeleteim not really sure if my girl is just young or just real confussed but eaither way this was not the video to come out with to me the only reason she left chris is because she was afraid of what the world would think of her not because she wanted to.
