The Big Who?

The newly and prematurely crowned big 3 (Miami) faced the original big 3 (Boston) last night and I must say towards the end of the game it was a heck of a season opener but the first half not so much.
I just want to address all those who were running their mouths saying that this was Wade's team and how Lebron would just be a role player. If you all "witnessed" last night who the role players were in the game then you know it was not Bron Bron. Lebron scored 31 points last night to help carry the team in a losing effort while Wade had 13.


This is only one game of a long season but Boston is still the team in the East to beat lets face it. As for Miami and it's so called Big 3 still have to prove themselves.

Happy 26th Birthday Nate! After coming off a great game 6 earlier this week in Boston to defeat the Orlando Magic what better b-day gift can Nate have then attending his first NBA Finals at a shot for the title, and to top it off coming off the bench in game 6 giving a spark to the team to help end that series. HAPPY Birthday Nate!

All he needs is that ring. Slam Dunk champ and NBA Ring in one season, would be so nice. LET'S GO BOSTON!

Sunday's VH1 Line up

So as many in my life know at this point I'm too busy to blog let alone watch tv. But since I'm home today and my dvr is ready to explode because it is 85% full with a bunch of shows from weeks and weeks ago that I have still be able to watch I took my pick of the liter and I watch the 3 shows that VH1 premiered last night. "What Chili Wants", "NBA House Wives" and "Brand and Ray J. Family business."

Chili is on her quest for love in this show but he laundry list of things she wants seems a bit far fetched but it seems that "Money May" could have it in the bag if only she would just put the friendship aside. Life is about risk honey and time is ticking and your are not so young anymore. While still looking fab he is a prize all in himself and I don't think she should let him get away. Awwwh they looked so cute together.


NBA Wives
I'm trying to figure out why this show is called NBA Wives in the first place. Another name would suit the show like NBA ex's and a fiance I don't know but the title is misleading. There are ex-wives, ex-fiances, ex-girlfriends, ex-cheerleader a fiance and one wife who is heading for a divorce any minute. All the ladies seem to be a bit hurt jealous and bitter while trying to change the cheerleader into some snoody chick and trying to corrupt the mind of the newly engaged girl to believe her man will one day cheat on her. SMH misery love company. I will be tuned in, there is nothing like drama as long as it's not in my life. LOL


Brandy and Ray J "Family Business"
I actually like this show, I'm interested in seeing what is going to happened for the rest of the season because the previews look real juicy. Reality shows seem to be the thing now and the way to keep your career going even if you don't have much going on. Maybe this will help put brandy on the comeback trail, but being a rapper she is not, stick to singing B.

I really can't stand cheaters. Come on now let's all play fair. I really have no tolerance for someone who uses drug enhancers to make them something they are not, while others are being honest and struggling to keep up with someone or something that is merely a mirage, a hoist, and figment of everyones imagination and even to themselves.
So why be banned from one sport to join another? I do believe in second chances but not for her. I idolized her, I wanted to be like her, but hey that is what I get huh? I'll strive to be me, because she was a phony, nothing she did even mattered, it has all been erased.
But now she is making a come back and not in track but in the WNBA. SMH Dang I know that the WNBA is not all that popular but is this the kind of image that they? I don't watch now and I definitely won't be watching once she laces up her sneakers. SMH shame on you Marion Jones, go be a mother and a spoke woman or something. I was real disappointed in the Slam Dunk contest last night. There was not one person in the competition that brought their A game. If I did not know any better I would have thought that most of them were forced into the competition. Even though I felt that they could have come harder, I am still happy for Nate Robinson coming home with the victory and becoming the 1st 3 time slam dunk champion. Congrats Nate

Justice?

Well it, seems like Jayson Williams will finally be serving jail time for killing his limo driver over 8years ago. I'm not really sure what kind of legal system America has sometimes. People get tried over and over again for the same crimes and it seems like justice is never served. Williams will be serving at least 18months to 5yrs for the murder, (yeah I said it) of the limo driver. As if taking 8years to finally put this matter to rest was not enough. I guess after his dad passing in November, his wife leaving him, having no career, a crashing his whip after hitting the bottle, he might as well take a vacation to the big house. SMH

Is it really about the drug test?

In an era where boxing has become such a lackluster sport and mega fights have come far and few in between the fight of the century was scheduled for March 13 between Mayweather and Pacquiao but it seems that the mega fight is not going to to happen.
The Mayweather Pacquiao fight that most fight fans were dreaming of can not be negotiated because of on going beef between the two camps about drug testing before the fight has got everyone up in arms. While the Mayweather camp wants random drug testing done up to 14 day before the fight, the Pacquiao camp will only agree to random drug testing up to 24 days before the fight claiming that Paq does not feel well for 3 days after giving blood. So I'm trying to figure out the problem here. There is a piece of me that says both fighters are a bit scared of ruining the legacies that they have built and the other part of me thinks maybe there might be some drugging going on in one of the camps (you pick which one).
But I really am leaning towards the scared theory being that Pacquiao is already in negotiations for a March 13 fight with Joshua Clotty.
So now tell me who is ducking who, this is a shame with all the money that is on the table that they can not come to a deal and stick with it. I'm such a disgruntled fan right now.

LOL! So he showed them! Nate Robinson returned last night after D*$k Antoni had him benched for 14 games straight. I really don't know the reason behind Nate being benched so long but I'm glad he showed out last night scoring 41 points. I love Nate Robinson and would hate to see him leave the Knicks but if the franchise is really thinking about trading him along with others for McGrady (who is washed)Nate gave his "new home to be" a little show of how "Great" Nate really can be and is!
