Today rapper Dwayne Carter aka Lil Wayne has plead guilty in a New York city court for attempted criminal possession of a weapon for a gun that was found on his tour bus back in July of 07. Lil Wayne will serve one year in prison for his guilty plea. If he had went to trial he would have faced more serious gun charges and a maximum of 15 years in prison. It is just sad to see that here is another black man leaving behind his children to to serve time in jail for stupidity. SMH@ the fact that with all the money that these stars have they won't pay a body guard to legally carry a gun to protect them. What a shame. Shyne gets out Wayne goes in.
Well that is what pride gets you, him and most rappers are too THUG to have a bodyguard. I don't feel sorry for him or anyone else that is that stupid. Maybe now he will have a different view and do the right thing but sad to say most likely he won't.
